It's been pretty quiet around here, so I figured I might as well spruce things up with some new projects I recently finished:
The first is the would-be set for the thesis not traveled. I'm really pleased with how it turned out...Almost makes me wanna make the finished film!
I tried to go for some variety on the second set. This one wasn't developed with any particular story in mind. This was just me having some fun.

Wow great stuff! Are these hand painted or some kind of combination of cg and painting?
Thanks! Both were modeled and lit in Maya. I did some compositing in After Effects, and some tweaks in Photoshop to get things to final; but very little painting, for the most part.
